“1994” is a body of work by born­ free South African artist Dane Dodds. Exploring freedom of speech and what it means to be born into a newly established democratic country. This exhibition serves as a milestone in the journey that Dodds has been on with his country as they both celebrated their 20th birthday in 2014. “1994” premiered in June 2015 at Small Projects Gallery in Tromsø, Norway.
